To whom it may concern, 

I am Rachel Read, CEO of Keep it Shiny Illustration. Born and raised in North London, where all the cool kids live. I did my degree at Nottingham Trent where I studied Fine Art, but after realising Fine Art was perhaps not the course for me, I switched to Textile Design and specialised in Embroidery. This was a strange move for me as I am incredibly interested in image and drawing, however I made illustrations with embroidery instead! HA! They didn't see THAT coming! .

I fancy myself a creative and am known for my humour and wit, I specialise in linear drawing, silly drawings with lots of humour, dabbling in colour from time to time. Water colour, pen, fine liner and ink are where I live, my materials of use I take comfort it.
